A Rich Spring was presented in the Val Gal (The Valuable
Gallery). The Val Gal is owned a run by Art Fabian Co. The exhibition was
created by Kathy Fabian, Principal Artist of Art Fabian Co.
Enjoy the following slide capsule of the exhibit with our compliments.
The exhibit was an eclectic mix of Art Fabian art featuring
Vision Boards, the permanent collection and scenes around downtown Montreal.
There was a special emphasis on women as role models. It was a study of
all kinds of women. The women were doing healthy positive things like
exercising and keeping care of the body. That eternal symbol of
femininity, the flower was ever-present. And as usual, the Company Rothko
painting had its important place right next to the Rose studio was all Art
Fabian Co. work is conceived and created.
Here's what the artist said about the exhibition the night
before it opened:
Happy Springtime.
The first day was yesterday and to celebrate the Valuable Gallery started a brand new exhibition: The Artist is Rich in Springtime. 2015.
All the art is not finished but everything from the winter is gone and the
gallery is filled with light and flowers and cityscapes.
As luck would have it one of the original cityscapes that I made has no people
in it. (Lucy has said that she likes the work much better with people so I
follow my orders). Often I find magazines or old calendars with some
appropriate content but this time, for days nothing. So I said finally I will
find something online I go to Flickr, I cannot get the site. It just doesn't
open on my machine. Pinterest. I find one. I cannot in my life figure out how
to use Picasa. (this is years).
Finally, I realize Bing is always there so
I go to find springtime city dwellers and most of the art I want to have the
watermark right on the people. So still nothing. I said, okay, so I will use
the people with the
watermarks and all. I am getting ready to print them out and
happen on the recycling bin and find a whole stack of magazines. this is early
in the afternoon. I am talking a whole stack.
So I am looking and looking and find all sorts of lovely pictures to use. I
start to cut. And cut. And cut. Finally, it's late at night I have made a
gorgeous collage for the summer but still I find nothing. In desperation, I
check one more time my binder. I pick up an image just like that. And try it
out. It works.
It took several days to finish the Griffintown image. I cannot wait to frame
it. It is going to be hung next week. I will show the image attached as well as
the work that might be included when summertime and the new exhibit starts.
Both are available for five hundred dollars each. But you can only have the
springtime image after the exhibition because now it is on display.

About this past Holiday Season:
I am finding it a little hard to get back into the normal swing of things after the holidays. At the same time, I am rather relieved to go back to the routine and get some work done.

Dear Friend,
Tuesday behind the scenes at the Art Fabian Company:
First K.V. guides you down the secret corridor to an Exhibition . With this visit, you are now one of the very few people that are even aware that it ever took place. A Video for The Bread Exhibit :
( For the next little while I
shall be blogging the recorded history of Art Fabian Company)
In Bread Exhibit One I am still
referring to art as first and foremost a precious substance. Thus the
frames still keep the symbolism of gold and silver. One type of frame is
made of clay and it looks much like it has been braided like the traditional
loaves of bread on Sabbath are braided by the Jewish people on Fridays.
This is where I have gotten the name "Bread".
For this exhibit and for a
while afterwards I will keep the reference of precious but I will not use it as
an exclusive thing. Art is also very necessary for the soul of
people. A good selection of art should be accessible to everyone and
everyday much like the bread we find on our tables. It is both expensive
and surrounds us naturally.
Now I invite you to s see a slideshow of the pieces that were shown as part of Bread Exhibit
One:
I hope you are enjoying your day. We are in for a cold snap in Montreal. As a matter of fact it is all across Canada. Many people have no electricity in the province of Quebec. Luckily for me everything is working fine. I will be taking advantage of the cold snap to stay inside and catch up on the paperwork. What will you be doing this week? Welcome to Tuesday Behind the Scenes at the Art Fabian Company Today we are going back into time to visit about The Wealth of Images Exhibit.
Lets Linger on the Holiday Season with a little more Festivities:
But before that lets celebrate the Holiday Season a little more, even if it is over. Why not? Lets take a little walk down into memory lane with a memento of the Holiday Seasons a few year ago:
The Wealth of Images Exhibit
The Wealth of Images Exhibit took place in Springtime of 2013 in the Inside Gallery. I had received a few beautiful oil paintings of traditional flower arrangements and they are very present in the selection of works. They influenced the choice of other exhibition pieces both in color and form. Color is a very important element in The Wealth of Images Exhibit. You can see this in the very floral colors of the two pieces using words.
The Wealth of Image title as well as the choice of frames stay true to the mandate of the Inside Gallery. It is part of the "Attracting Millionaires" series. This is to consciously use and exhibit art as a high luxury item that is very valuable and that will bring wealth to its owner. the frames are made of metals that simulate precious substances like silver and gold.
The works are by various artists. There are two collages made from greeting cards by K. Fabian, the owner of the Inside Gallery.
The pieces have long been dismantled or given away. All that remains of the Wealth of Images Exhibit are these photographs. It took place somewhere in the universe were a creative mind, hidden from most people, existed and loved art.
These images are for sale at the price of $100 each, individually printed. Shipping is included. 10% of each sale goes to charity.

Look for Kathy F. (that's Kathy not Katherine or Kathleen or anything but Kathy F.) Go to
In the residence where I live there is a vibrant exchange of media. On the walls there is a large range of artwork reflecting the rather conservative tastes of the ladies who run the administration. There is a very stern rule forbidding expensive art on the walls which creates a sort of artistic void in my opinion. There is a tendency to prefer works that the residents created rather than purchase quality prints.
If one takes that in mind however one can find quality in less expensive things such as greeting cards and arts and crafts. There is also a collection of dolls and toys that is carefully tended to by members of the order.
I am no critic of inexpensive prints like cards so I thought that for this exhibit I would choose works that were already chosen by the very residents themselves. Besides I found no interest in my artistic endeavors until then. (This would never change. Rather than accept this kind of philosophy I would opt to create exhibits for my wealthy target population and work mostly on line to promote the results).
But this exhibit highlighted The Residents choice of artwork. Despite my criticism above, it has its own charms and certainly, if it is not my preference, it reflects the tastes of very important women in the place I live.
These pictures are all that are left to show that the exhibit ever took place and they are available for purchase, individually printed at $120 each.

In the Valuable Gallery
Montreal, Quebec, Canada
The name Precious is given to show the importance Valuable Gallery places on the role art has as a luxury object. The exhibition, done in 2013, emphasizes the Art Fabian Company mandate concerning the creation of prestige art for the wealthy.
3. Finally, the Art Fabian Company researches contemporary concerns to guide us in our work. This Tuesday we are going to send you a link that will help you and I exchange thoughts clearly, cohesively and pleasantly.
One of the very first more formal exhibitions with titles and name plates was this one called:
'La richesse et le beauté' (Translation: the Richness and the Beauty)
The titles were in French because that is the language of the pavillon that I live in.
Like all the exhibitions of the Valuable Gallery, it talked about art as a commodity with the potential to create affluence. It also used the subject of transportation to symbolize art as a tool to breach differences. Like to lead one from a life of poverty to a life of affluence. or to attract backing for international travel.
All images are available individually printed, upon request, for one hundred and twenty dollars each. Contact Kathy Vivian Fabian at kfabian.kathynotes@gmail.com.
The Valuable Gallery is a one-woman production that is run by me, Kathy Vivian Fabian. It started several years ago....without a gallery. At the time, the ladies I share my residence with were curious about what type of work I did. For this reason, a table was assigned to me in the cafeteria and each week I would select some photographs to put in a binder to show them. Eventually, it got more organized.
But the idea for the Valuable Gallery came from a very simple combination. A binder to put my fine art photographs. And a table for it.
In this blog post, I will show one of my first formal selections.
All works are available individually printed (from 4 x 6 inches to 8 1/2 x 11 1/2 inches) at one hundred twenty dollars each.
